How to connect
- 1
Add the MCP server
Add the block below to ~/.gemini/settings.json.
- 2
Log in
Run /mcp auth tebar in Gemini CLI, then log in and allow access in the browser.
~/.gemini/settings.json
{
"mcpServers": {
"tebar": { "httpUrl": "https://api.tebar.app/mcp" }
}
}The Gemini app (gemini.google.com) also supports MCP "custom apps", but for now only for personal accounts in the United States.
No account yet? Sign up free, then connect Instagram, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Telegram, or Discord in the dashboard. The full guide is at docs.tebar.app, and the steps above follow Gemini CLI’s official guide.
Try asking
- "Write a caption for this photo, then schedule it for 7 pm tomorrow on Instagram and Threads."
- "Which comments haven’t been answered yet? Suggest replies first."
- "Which post from last week got the most views?"
- "Move Friday’s post to Saturday at 9 am."
About Gemini CLI
How is using Gemini CLI different from the Tebar dashboard?
Both use the same Tebar account. Posts made by Gemini CLI show up on the dashboard calendar, and the other way round. Use whichever feels easiest.
Can Gemini CLI post without me knowing?
AI assistants are asked to confirm the text and target accounts before creating a post. You can also give read-only access, and revoke access any time from the Tebar dashboard.
Which plan do I need?
MCP and API access come with every paid plan (Starter, Basic, Pro), including the 14-day Pro trial for new sign-ups.
