Meta · Custom connector + API key
Beta
Tebar for Muse
Meta's personal agent in the Muse app and WhatsApp. Through Tebar, Muse can schedule posts, build carousels, and post to platforms outside Meta.
How to connect
- 1
Create an API key just for Muse
Create an API key in the Tebar dashboard (API keys menu). Choose read-only if the agent only needs to read.
- 2
Ask Muse to build a custom connector
Send Muse: "Build a custom connector to Tebar. Its MCP server is https://api.tebar.app/mcp, a public Streamable HTTP endpoint. It takes my API key as an Authorization: Bearer header."
- 3
Paste the API key in the secure field
When Muse asks for the key, paste it into the secure credentials prompt, never into the chat.
- 4
Test and save
Ask Muse to test the connector ("list my Tebar accounts") and save it as a skill. Choose when Muse must ask for your approval in Settings.
Muse is only available in the United States for now. Meta doesn't review custom connectors, so give Muse its own API key that you can revoke without affecting other agents.
No account yet? Sign up free, then connect your social accounts in the dashboard. The full guide is at docs.tebar.app, and the steps above follow Muse’s official guide.
Try asking
- "Write a caption for this photo, then schedule it for 7 pm tomorrow on Instagram and Threads."
- "Which comments haven’t been answered yet? Suggest replies first."
- "Which post from last week got the most views?"
- "Move Friday’s post to Saturday at 9 am."
About Muse
How is using Muse different from the Tebar dashboard?
Both use the same Tebar account. Posts made by Muse show up on the dashboard calendar, and the other way round. Use whichever feels easiest.
Can Muse post without me knowing?
AI assistants are asked to confirm the text and target accounts before creating a post. You can also give read-only access, and revoke access any time from the Tebar dashboard.
Which plan do I need?
MCP and API access come with every paid plan (Starter, Basic, Pro), including the 14-day Pro trial for new sign-ups.
