This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you may and may not do with Tebar: the dashboard, the REST API, the MCP server, and automations. It is part of our Terms of Service. Terms not defined here mean the same as in the Terms of Service.
1. Why this policy exists
Tebar connects to each platform through official apps shared by every user: one Meta app for Instagram and Threads, one Google project for YouTube (including a daily upload quota shared by everyone), one Telegram bot, and so on. When one user abuses Tebar, a platform can restrict or revoke Tebar's app, and every user is affected. This policy keeps:
- your social media accounts in good standing with the platforms;
- Tebar's access to the platforms open for everyone;
- the people who see, comment on, or get messages from your accounts from being harmed.
2. Prohibited content
You may not use Tebar to create, schedule, or publish:
- online gambling or the promotion of gambling sites;
- illegal online lending (without an OJK license) or debt collection by threats and intimidation;
- scams: phishing, fraudulent investments, get-rich-quick schemes, pyramid schemes, or fake giveaways;
- hoaxes and deliberately misleading disinformation, including deepfakes or realistic AI-generated content without a label;
- pornography, sexually explicit content, or intimate photos and videos of anyone without their consent;
- child sexual exploitation or abuse in any form;
- hate speech, incitement to violence, terrorism, bullying, or threats;
- drugs, weapons, or other goods and services that may not be traded;
- infringement of anyone's copyright, trademarks, privacy, or personal data;
- anything else the destination platform prohibits, even if it is not listed above.
3. Prohibited behavior on the platforms
- Spam: posting the same or nearly the same content repeatedly, to many accounts at once, or in unreasonable volumes.
- Fake engagement: buying or trading likes, followers, comments, or views, and running networks of fake accounts or coordinated inauthentic activity.
- Unwanted messages: using the Inbox or Comment → DM automations to send mass or repeated promotions, or to message people in ways Instagram does not allow.
- Impersonating another person, brand, or organization.
- Managing accounts without permission from their owners, or using a new account to evade a platform's sanctions on an old one.
4. Prohibited technical use
- Trying to access another Tebar user's accounts, workspaces, or data.
- Security testing, scanning, or load testing the Service without our written permission. If you find a vulnerability, report it to us (see section 9).
- Getting around usage limits: API and MCP rate limits, post quotas per plan, the daily YouTube upload allowance, or the free trial, for example by creating several Tebar accounts.
- Scraping data from the platforms, or using data you receive from Tebar to monitor, profile, or sell data about other people.
- Reverse engineering, copying, or rebuilding the Service.
- Reselling access to Tebar while hiding that the service is Tebar, or sharing passwords and API keys. Managing client accounts through workspaces and connect links is allowed, as set out in section 3 of the Terms of Service.
5. AI assistants and automation
What the AI assistants, API apps, and automations you connect do is treated as your own action. So:
- check a post's content and destination accounts before an AI assistant publishes it;
- give read-only access when an assistant only needs to read;
- do not use AI assistants or automation to create and publish content or replies in bulk without human review.
6. When a platform restricts your account
Meta, TikTok, Google, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, Telegram, and Discord decide the status of accounts on their platforms on their own. They can restrict, suspend, or remove accounts, posts, or features, sometimes without notice or explanation. Tebar cannot:
- reverse or speed up a platform's decision;
- appeal on your behalf;
- find out the exact reason behind the decision;
- compensate losses that result from a platform's decision.
In Tebar, an account whose access was revoked is marked as needing to be reconnected, and its scheduled posts cannot go out until it is connected again. To appeal, contact the platform's help center directly. If you believe the problem comes from Tebar, contact us.
7. Consequences of violations
Depending on how serious a violation is and its impact, we may:
- warn you by email and ask you to remove or fix the content;
- cancel scheduled posts that break this policy;
- turn off specific features, such as API keys, MCP access, DM automations, or specific social media accounts;
- suspend your Tebar account temporarily while we investigate;
- close your Tebar account permanently.
For serious violations (such as child exploitation, scams, gambling, or actions that endanger Tebar's access to the platforms) and repeated violations, we may suspend or close an account right away without a warning, and report it to the platform or the authorities where the law requires.
While an account is suspended, scheduled posts are not published and API and MCP access stops. When an account is suspended or closed for breaking this policy, the rest of the plan period and the Tebar balance are not refunded.
8. Objections
If you think we got it wrong, reply to our notice or write to [email protected] within 14 days, with an explanation and any relevant evidence. We will review the decision and reply as soon as we can.
9. Reporting abuse
Seen an account using Tebar for spam, scams, or other prohibited content, or found a security vulnerability? Write to [email protected] with a link to the post or account and a short explanation. We do not share the reporter's identity with the user reported.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when platform rules change. For important changes, we let you know by email or in the dashboard.
